Privacy
We collect the minimum we need to get your order to you, and nothing else.
Who we are
Silly Snoot is a trading name of TODO_FILL: your full name, TODO_FILL: business address. We're responsible for your personal data. Contact:snoot@lycolearn.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
At checkout we collect your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, plus what you ordered. We use them only to:
- take your payment and send your receipt,
- get your order delivered (couriers need your phone number for delivery updates),
- send your tracking link and answer your emails,
- handle returns, refunds and complaints.
We use your data because we need it to carry out our contract with you, and we keep order records because tax law requires it.
We never see your full card details. Payments are handled by Stripe.
Who we share it with
Your data is shared with these companies, only so they can do their part of your order, and no one else:
- Stripe processes your payment. Stripe may process data in the US under approved safeguards.
- Our fulfilment partner (SourcinBox) packs and posts your order, and passes your name, address and phone number to the courier. SourcinBox is based in China, so your delivery details leave the UK; this is necessary to deliver the order you've asked for.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and forwards emails sent to us.
We never sell your data.
Analytics and cookies
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or build a profile of you. Your basket is saved in your own browser's storage so it's still there when you come back; it isn't sent to us until you check out.
There's no marketing email unless you opt in.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for six years, as HMRC requires. Emails are deleted once they're no longer needed to deal with your order.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (except what we must keep for tax). Emailsnoot@lycolearn.co.uk and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
